Snowriders International Founding Committee Member,Olympic Snowboarder

Chris Klug, an early Snowriders International supporter, is a professional snowboarder and an all-around awesome guy. After receiving a liver transplant in 2000, Chris went on to compete in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City where he won a Bronze Medal. He is the first and so far only transplant recipient to have competed in the Olympics. In 2004, Chris released a book called "To the Edge and Back: My Story from Organ Transplant Survivor to Olympic Snowboarder." He founded the Chris Klug Foundation and Donor Dudes to spread awareness of the need for organ donors. In his twenty years on the World Cup circuit, he has earned many titles from World Cup and Grand Prix winner to U.S. Open Champion and Olympic Medalist. But it is his passion for the sport and love for the mountains that keeps him riding.
